We cut lumber exclusively from logs that have come from salvage, windfalls, and single tree selection.  Below is the TRUST FOR SUSTAINABLE FORESTRY VIDEO.  This video, in which I am one of several individuals filmed, expresses my views on forestry and forest communities . Some of the film is made here at our 153 acre Everwoods community, fronting on Desolation Sound, on Cortes Island... Orca Design has never cut a log from a clearcut, unless it  was salvage,  many  years after the damage was done.  The motivation for my  work is largely the vision of a world where we live in harmony with, and as part of  the forest  that supports us all .  Any feedback is welcome through my  contacts link, as are any questions you may have.
